SOLDANO, Carol Ann (nee Koppenal), age 76, of Lodi, died on December 31, 2016. Born in Worcester, MA, she lived in Paterson and Garfield settling in Lodi 45 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi, a bus aide for the past 10 years with Town and Country Bus Co. in Wayne, and previously, she was a lab assistant 20 years at Pearl Optical Laboratory in Saddle Brook. Carol was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Ciro in 2006, her parents, Robert and Isabella Koppenal, and her siblings, Robert Koppenal, Sally Seiller, and Joan Lamberti. Loving mother of Rosalia DiCrescienzo and husband Giovanni, and Lisa Soldano and boyfriend Oscar Sabillon, and cherished grandmother of Jessica, Derek, and Devon. Visiting Wednesday 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, January 5, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and the Ramapo Animal Refuge.
