I know how much you are hurting, and I wish there was something I could do or say to take that hurt and pain away.

I will miss Sammy more than I can even say. The only consolation I have and can offer is that he is with Lou (Uncle Piffy) and they have been reunited with Joey and Sottie.

Condolence: Sam (S.M.) I know that this message will reach you up in the heavens. We have been lifelong friends and our lives have been intertwined through good times and bad.
The good Lord has a grand design for all us and I know when that time comes for each of us, we will once again meet on the other side. It is hard to believe that so many who were in our original group of nine have already made the journey. I will always hold dear the memories of our friendship, and never forget you or the others.

Condolence: My uncle Sottie was like second father to me growing up. I have so many fond memories of the Mercadante family. Sammy was a great guy who will be missed by all who knew him.
