Condolence: I am so saddened by the passing of my very sweet former neighbor, Irene. I have many fond memories of her. Irene always made me feel very special. One particular Valentine's Day, she took me to dinner and told me I was her special Valentine. Irene knew that I was a huge Beatles fan. She gave me four pins in the shape of beetles.

Another time, Irene joined my family on a trip to Miami Beach, Florida.

Irene was a beautiful person both inside and out. Her kindness and love will be remembered.

It has been many years since we last saw each other, however, she has never been forgotten.

May she rest in peace.

Condolence: How easy it is to recall, decades later, how genuine Irene was in her commitment to the Office and to each of us, personally. And it all came from a loving heart.

Condolence: My thoughts and feeling are with Irene's Family. She was a special part of the US Attorney's Office and I have many memories of her giving spirit and personality. It was always a pleasure to see her. She touched many lives.

Condolence: I was a young Assistant US Attorney from 1973-1976, when the office was relatively small. Irene was always interested in us and our families, with her bright smile and friendly ways. For years after, when I visited the office as a defense counsel, she would always greet me warmly. I'm sure that the family will be consoled by their memories of what a wonderful person Irene was.

Condolence From: Linda
Condolence: "God I love you!" This is what Irene would always say to me when she saw me followed by a big hug. "The God in me loves the God in you too Irene." That would be my response. He's called you home and now you live again, but without the cares of this world! To the family, may the good memories and the Spirit of God provide you comfort during this time.
Sincerely,
Linda - USAO, District of NJ
